Faith over Fear

Faith OVER Fear

When do you fear the worst will happen?

At the hospital

When there is a car accident

When your child is really ill

After you see your life flash before your eyes

When you are scared

When you can't 'see' the future

When a loved one betrays you

When life takes a terrible downturn

When do you fear the future?

For me, over and over again, it's when I can't 'see' the future. I am now facing it in a better way, with prayer, faith and courage.

I am able to feel very deeply about family, friends and people, so much so I ache when they ache. The unknown can be worrying, and we don't know how the situation will turn out. For us or our friends it's part of faith and trusting God.

Will it turn out? Will they be, ok?

If I'm not careful, I lose sight of my focus. Jesus Christ and my assurance of eternal life, truth and freedom.

When I focus on the things I'm feeling, or seeing, I'm not focused on Jesus, and God's truth in the Bible.

Truths in the Bible like:

I'll never leave you.

I love you.

Seek Me first.

Do not fear.

Do not worry.

Trust God, He knows already.

When I get overwhelmed with problems or worries, it's a problem because I take it on me and try to figure it out. When multiple friends are in anguish, if I am not careful, I take their pain on me. All on me. Then I feel their burdens, in a heavy way. That isn't healthy and it sure isn't helpful. I am not God.

I know God wants me to feel, love for others and care about their lives, but also to CAST all my cares on Him. It's too much for me, to carry so much pain. So, my lessons have included, letting go.

In the photo above, what is your initial focus? The trash can or the tree or something else?

It was the tree, for me.

Later, I saw the trash can.

Our lives are all about focus. What do we choose to focus on?

Faith over fear..

I'm having a difficult time with my blog posts, the formatting, the images.. and this is frustrating. Yet, I choose faith over fear.

Faith: it will be a learning time and not fearing rejection for doing a 'bad job.' I know some people want to read a perfectly formatted, perfect grammatically written post, but I am getting there. I hope the message comes across in love and faith.

Fear: it won't look right, or be clear to you dear reader. So I choose to believe it will work out ok, and if it can be ok on a blog, it can be ok, in life.

It's ok to feel like things are out of Your control.

What parents haven't felt a bit out of control when raising a child? Have you had a this experience, with a child or just in life? You may not know the outcome, but you find trust in the professionals that you are working with.

I happen to trust God with the outcome, the professionals and my heart.

We all trust someone or something.

You do too. You may say, ' I trust only Me.' Yet…

You trust your car manufacturer to put the break line in correctly.

You trust your chair will hold you.

You trust your heart to pump, and pump all day long without a break.

So if you say, "I trust me and me alone", that's not Really true now, is it?

All day long we trust/ expect things to work for us.

That there then is a 'rub'. You EXPECT…

A friend to call.

A sibling to 'get you'.

A cashier to give you the right change.

A fumigation Co. to kill your bugs.

We expect, and therefore Trust.

Your children to follow your guidance.

I was given a choice to trust and so are you. Choose life eternal with Jesus as Lord and Savior…

           Or

Trust yourself to get past the holy guards in Heaven.

Is your name written in the Book of Life?

Revelation 3:5

He who wins the victory will, like them, be dressed in white clothing; and I will not blot his name out of the Book of Life; in fact, I will acknowledge him individually before my Father and before his angels.

How will you know if you are in Gods book of life??

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, trust that He saved you by faith. Trusting that the Bible is true, front, back and middle.

That Jesus is the Passover lamb.

Read: Isaiah 53 then read, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

It's a true story, history and probable. I hope you will be there in heaven, what a beautiful day that will be.

Have faith over fear❤️ I'm working on it too

Shalom, Shalom

Conversion is key with a blog❤️ I hope you will join in.
